Installing the ScreenClip Chrome Extension

ScreenClip is an online tool that allows you to take screenshots, edit them, and share them with others. You can also collaborate with your team or clients on the same screenshot, and organize your screenshots into folders. To use ScreenClip, you need to install the Chrome extension and create a free account. Here are the steps to get started:

Step 1



Go to ScreenClip website and click on Install. This will take you to the Chrome Web Store, where you can add the ScreenClip extension to your browser.

After installing the extension, go to the upper right corner of your browser and click on the Extensions icon. Now you can pin it to your browser so you can easily access the extension by clicking on the pin icon:

Once you ve complete step 2 you can click on the button "Get clip links" to create an account or login and start taking screenshots of any web page. To do that, click on the ScreenClip extension icon and choose one of the capture options: Selection, Visible part, or Full page.






Step 4



After capturing a screenshot, depending on the type of screenshot, you will be either shown the editor where you can use various tools to annotate, comment, blur, highlight, or draw on your screenshot. You can also crop, rotate, or resize your screenshot, or add more images to it, or you will see the preview of you screenshot in the extension which you can click on to be taken to our editor.

When you are done editing, you can share your screenshot with others. You can either download it as an image file, copy it to your clipboard, or generate a link that you can send to anyone. If you share it as a link, others will be able to view and edit your screenshot online, and even see the source link of where the screenshot was taken.

Step 6



You can also organize your screenshots into folders, and access them anytime from your dashboard. To go to your dashboard, click on the ScreenClip icon and select Dashboard. There, you can create new folders, rename or delete existing ones, and drag and drop your screenshots into them. You can also search for your screenshots by name, date, or URL.
